“Catch a Falling Star”

The Pyrotechnics Guild International, Inc. will have their annual Fireworks Convention at the Wisconsin International Raceway again this year !  The convention will be from Saturday, August 7 through Friday, August 13.

There will be three big evenings of public displays: Sunday (August 8), Wednesday (August 11) and Friday (August 13), when the PGI will ” knock your socks off” at the Raceway.   They will start around 8:30 PM and will feature over an hour of fireworks displays on each of those evenings.  Ticket information can be found at the PGI website along with the display schedule.

Saturday, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday will be days reserved for the PGI membership only.  The 2010 Wisconsin PGI Convention page, gives additional details of the events.  There will be workshops and lectures at the Raceway and at the Radison Paper Valley.  There will be competitions (closed to the public) on Monday and Tuesday.  There will also be open shooting available to PGI members on every day of the convention.

We’ll see our evening skies light up over the next few days !
